Members can post text, images, videos, and links directly on the activity pages of the site. Members talk to each other directly and in private. Not just limited to one-on-one discussions, messages can be sent between any number of members. Groups allow members to organize themselves into specific public, private or hidden sections with separate activity streams and member listings. The events calendar is dynamic and members can enter events directly to the Events Calendar and enable bookings if required.

Why it’s in the Showcase: This site uses state-of-the-art social networking and is connecting Rotarians from around the world. In more than 34,000 clubs worldwide, you will find members volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio. Recently the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donated $250 million to the Rotary Foundation to eradicate polio on this Earth. Rotarians matched that amount and are in the process of eliminating this terrible disease once and for all.
